Since I deleted my Facebook earlier this year, I am posting everything here for anyone who wants to read. If you are looking for serious stuff, you may not want to read since these posts were meant for Facebook.

Before domestic industries were destroyed, everyone wore designer clothes and shoes because there were tailors and cobblers. Now, people pay an extraordinary price for the same things and call industrialization, progress.
Just like society is the sum of its individuals, an individual is also a sum or a product of his society. How then are our hands bloodied with the blood of criminals, but not with that of victims? How can we give ourselves a clean pass?

To feel left out from society is akin to looking at the game from the outside. It breaks down the social hypnosis because there is no social. Thus, society must get dysfunctional for the hypnosis to break, for people to ask real questions and wake up again. Disorder is inevitable for order to emerge. Corrupts leaders become agents for that. They think are playing the game when they are mere pawns in the divine order.

Democracy requires people to be learned in finance, economics, and public policy, in general. But most people are simply not interested. It is not a failure of people but of the revolutionaries who thought people would be. They ended up crafting a veil for oligarchs to hide behind. The prophets were right when they said all man-made systems were just fallible as man, but the divine law is like the law of gravity, not man-made.
The only difference between a monarchy and a democracy is that the former has only one ruler and a much smaller aristocracy.

I have been thinking of the Eden garden as the ideal place where man lived in unity with the divine. No laws were needed until man ate the fruit of knowledge. He then thought he could improve on the divine design, in which process, he made everything worse.
Perhaps, our attempt to accept everything we know as true and accumulate more is the same egotistical pursuit. But it keeps us from what we were before we set on the pursuit. Without the veil of ego, we did not have to look or read, because we were what we sought.

Men who chase money are ideal slaves. You can direct them exactly how you can direct a cat with catfood. Only men with virtue are free.

Weak men want to champion others. Strong men champion themselves

Air and water are more aware of your feelings than you think. Think in terms of fields (electric, magnetic, etc). They go right through your head, with no respect for privacy.

Joining a group of people with similar beliefs is nothing but self-indoctrination. You are making it easy on your rulers

If no belief was a belief, rocks would become believers. If no opinion was an opinion, even a corpse would become opinionated. Christian conversion artists need to understand that. I am tired of refuting the same argument over and again. [No belief is a belief]

When everyone says thank you, you suddenly are out of words when you do want to thank someone

A friendship based on agreements is only as good as an agreement. It dissolves as soon as there is any disagreement.

How is school not slavery if humans work but not get paid? The worse part is nobody even benefits from the unpaid labor besides their future employers. People in the future will think, "what were those guys in the early 21th-century thinking? How could they make kids work for 16 years without any payment?"

People who say they trust God only have expectations from God, which is why they worry and engage in religious service. Those who truly trust God never worry like a baby when his father throws him up in the air. They understand that it is futile to score points with God. Everything has already been taken care of. They are, in the truest sense of the word, liberated.

When you can't offend someone, you have become friends
Aug 1, 2019
A place where you cannot be criticized is not a safe space. It is a cage.
Those who look for people with the same values don't know friendship. They are not looking for a friend. They are looking to justify their values. They are looking for a comfort zone. They are too much in love with themselves to love anyone else. But that comfort zone becomes their cage.

Define abundance. Define content. See, there's no such thing as abundance, but content.

The moment you realize it is all your fault, no matter what, you become insanely powerful. If odds are 1/10, you must do 10 times as much. If they are 1/100, get ready to work 100 times harder. If you think the odds are 0/10, you are grossly underestimating the universe.

Do not regulate your speech to not offend people. If you consider everyone's feeling, you become society's slave. Do not regulate your speech in the fear of losing friends. Those who forsake you just because they are offended were never your friends. Just tell the truth. That's the best you can do for yourself, and for others.
People- one man can't change the system.
Me- he can definitely make it worse.

If your friendship is contingent on political and religious similarity, what we are talking about is not friendship, but ideological slavery. You are living in a cage.

They do not want to lie and do all that fake shit, because they do not like to. They can't tell the truth because they are insecure. They end up avoiding people or acting as if they did not see them.
April 28, 2019
Something very funny happens when people fake too much. Last time, they said "nice to meet you", "appreciate you" and a lot of bullshit. When they get tired of lying, they start to avoid you altogether. They know they would have to wear a fake face again and resume the facade they began last time, but they are tired of lying and faking. They end up hiding or acting as if they didn't see you so they wouldn't have to fake. If they only gave up hypocrisy, they wouldn't have to do any of that crap.

A student at Starkville High told me he only cared about himself, and about no one else. Of course, other teachers didn't like him. They liked those who made moral promises. But here's what's implied by his behavior. He doesn't care about coming across as caring, because he is. He does not care about coming across as nice, because he is. People who say that they are caring are insecure/afraid that they are not caring, so they want to make it known to others. They want to compensate for the lack.
Punchline- what people do reflects how they feel. What people say reflects how they want to feel.

I am not impressed when atheists' and physicists contend that everything can be explained by the laws of physics. What remains unexplained will eventually be explained. That's enough to dispel God only if God is a ruler, doer, maker, or an active participant of the physical and non-physical universe. There may be more to the picture.
By the way, I do not buy the Churchian model of God being outside and unaffected by the universe. If something is outside the Universe, then what we are talking about is not the Universe. The Universe, by definition, is infinite. It has no outside and inside.

When we institutionalize a department of education, we deliver to a small group of people the power to brainwash an entire nation via public education. They carefully take out what people are not supposed to know.

When Christians refer to miracles and extraordinary events to convince themselves and me of God, it makes me think that they lack faith. Why do you look up a repair shop's google reviews? Reviews of a barber? Because you lack faith. Why do you look for a doctor's degree and reputation? Because you lack faith. Why do you ask God for miracles and extraordinary events to prove itself? Why do you want God to pull out a degree in miracles? BECAUSE YOU LACK FAITH.
Do I advocate blind faith? That is actually beside the point. Faith, by definition, is a let go of experience, not a hold on to experience. If you say you have faith, you end up contradicting yourself with such counter-faith statements.

Some say man is born with a firm belief in God, trust, and love. In unholy places, he questions his faith. Some ignore the challenges of the world. Some scrutinize their faith. A society plagued with ego and spiritual pride fail to answer their questions. They abandon their faith, which is the most important part. They had to give it up to ever find faith. To give up knowledge precedes finding those things or the seeker would end up sticking to anything that fits the descriptions of those things, while all of those descriptions may be wrong.
Giving up faith enables him to ask the real questions, "why?" In the pursuit of the logos, he gives up all his knowledge, all his beliefs and opinions because they comprise his subjectivity. He lets go of everything. He breathes out. His fists open up, as his sense of self eases. In this place of nothingness, he eventually sees all that there is. He understands why people can't see any of that. People were looking for anything that fits the definition, but what was just revealed to him should better be left undefined, because the definition itself is a distortion of what it is. He sees everything clear. Everything stops to bother him. He starts to see through ego and spiritual hypocrisy. In this process, his faith in love, trust, and may be God is restored. And this, I wonder if, is the perpetual story of mankind and of the divine.

Self-regulation assumes a focus on the self, otherwise called selfishness. Therefore, self-regulation may either causes selfishness or manifests selfishness or both are the same.

Selfish Friendship- one that is done, the doer being the self.
Selfless Friendship- one that happens without intentions, void of the self.
Selfish Love- one that is done, the self being the doer.
Selfless Love- one that happens without intentions or plans
Selfish prayer- one this is done, probably as a result of spiritual pride.
Selfless prayer- one that happens when the self forgets itself and experiences the state of worship.

A Christian friend mentioned that if Jesus did not rise from the dead, Christianity would be fraudulent. Another friend thought that miracles are divine phenomena. If Jesus was God, would he still not be God, had he not walked on water, had he not risen past death? To be fixated on miracles to establish anyone's credibility is actually cheap. It's like asking someone's GPA before trusting him with a job. It's actually an act of lack of faith.
In a wider context, people seem to be too fixated on extraordinary things that Ram, Krishn, Buddha and Jesus did, wholly missing the point. The point here is the shit they say, and how these guys always knew the right thing to do, as if they did not contemplate on the alternatives, rather the highest, the most irreproachable ways occurred to them, like the clouds that know exactly where to go, like the birds that know where to migrate/fly to. I see this Daoistic element in how these guys act. Why? Perhaps, that is the point.

When you deny help because you can't suck up your ego, you treat sentivity with non-reward, which extinguishes that behavior. On a large scale, you are programming society to become insensitive (Skinner's behavior modification). Next time, accept help when you actually need it. On the flip side, offer help without expectations when the other party needs it. That would reward people who try asking for help.

More people flocked to education than they should have. They conducted research just to get their Phds, not to find something new. Thus, we get got a ton of bullshit scholarship. Worse than that, people just blindly believe research findings without looking at the studies themselves. When people tell me something shocking, I ask if they have read the source, which almost no one does. But they vehemently hold on those extreme findings. The best example is the campus rape myth. No one has ever even quoted the source to me. Having read it is out of question. That's how investment in education has bred ignorance, sophistry, and miseducation, contradictory to its purpose.

To control your mind may be a foolish idea. If you and your mind are two different things, and you managed to control your mind, who then is gonna control you? The dictator can dictate the nation. Who then, dictates the dictator? Another dictator? Who is watching him? If you and your mind are not different but the same, then to control your mind means to be totally controlled, in other words, to have no control at all. In both cases, it appears we have reached absurd conclusions.

It occurs to me that people hold on to too much. They want to be nice, caring, respectful, friendly, loving, etc. That means they are neither nice nor caring nor respectful, nor friendly, nor loving.
You can never try to be any of those, you can only be that way. The inculcation of ego "I am gonna make myself caring" seems to the beginning of hypocrisy because the outside world only sees the objective you, who is not caring, which is why the subjective you (the doer, the ego) wants the objective you to change. To that outside world, that looks like hypocrisy, because the ego is not visible. The subjective you remains a poser.
You also become anxious because you monitor your actions to fit your behavioral goals.
